The UNLV Lady Rebels have completed a two-game sweep of New Mexico this season with a 90-65 win on Saturday afternoon.
Five Lady Rebels scored in double-digits as the Lady Rebels dominated the Lobos.
Aaliyah Alexander led the Lady Rebels, scoring 15 points. Alexander was near perfect from the floor, going 2-for-3 from the field and going 1-for-1 from the 3-point line.
Kiara Jackson and Meadow Roland both put up 13 points each. Roland led the Lady Rebels in rebounding with nine.
McKinna Brackens added 12 points and was tied with Alyssa Brown with four assists. Brown scored 11 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.
Destinee Hooks led the Lobos, scoring 15 points, and Alyssa Hargrove added 13 points.
Nayli Padilla led the Lobos in rebounds, grabbing seven.
The Lobos started the game strong, going up 5-2. The Lady Rebels then went on a 13-point run to take a 15-5 lead with 5:11 left in the first 10 minutes.
New Mexico then went on a 7-3 run before the Lady Rebels closed out the quarter with a four-point run to go up 22-12.
The Lady Rebels then went on an eight-point run where Alexander made four straight free throws to give UNLV a 30-12 lead before the half.
The Lady Rebels never looked back.
