Considering the fact that the Aces are expected to finish as the fourth or fifth seed in the playoffs, coach Becky Hammon was asked whether she is concerned about the rankings. Hammon said that she did not care since the Aces play better on the road than at home.
"I mean great we are in the playoffs great but I don’t care I care about Phoenix next.”

The Aces are now 10-7 at home and 9-5 on the road, which bodes well for them since 7 of their last 9 games are on the road. The Aces have beaten the Storm twice out of three games this season. They also face Connecticut twice, who they are 3.5 games back for second place in the WNBA.
It will be interesting to watch where the Aces end up at the conclusion of the season, since if it ended today and they finished fourth, they would have home court advantage in the first round. The only thing to consider is that if they finish fourth or fifth and continue to the semi-finals, they would almost certainly meet the New York Liberty in a 2023 WNBA Finals rematch.
This would mean we would get a rematch, but not in the Finals. If the Aces moved up to third, they would avoid New York until the Finals, but they would have to go through Connecticut or Minnesota.
