Although the A’s are struggling in the standings, Las Vegas’ future MLB team is seeing strong demand for premium seats behind home plate at the $2 billion domed stadium on the Strip. The new stadium is opening for the 2028 season.

The Athletics have sold 92 percent of the 294 “Athletic Club” seats, each priced at $900 per game or $72,900 for the full 81-game season, according to the team’s sales staff. These seats include access to a high-end steakhouse, an exclusive lounge, in-seat beverage service, grab-and-go food options, and parking. Notably, tickets reflect excitement around Major League Baseball, often shortened as MLB. This excitement is growing with the arrival of the new team and MLB returning to the city.

In addition to the $72,900 season ticket price, buyers must pay a one-time $100,000 personal seat license (PSL) fee. The A’s are applying the PSL fee to 6,000 club seats out of 30,000 fixed seats. Including 3,000 standing tickets, the stadium’s total capacity will be 33,000.

For the Athletic Club, 294 seats at $72,900 each generate $21,432,600 in annual ticket revenue. The one-time $100,000 PSL fee per seat adds $29,400,000. This results in over $50 million in first-year Athletic Club revenue. Additionally, this financial surge highlights just how valuable MLB franchises can be for local economies and sports fans alike.

The Diamond Club offers 694 seats with all-inclusive dining and premium views behind home plate at $550 per game, or $44,550 for a full season. Each seat also requires a one-time $60,000 PSL fee. This mirrors the structured pricing seen around professional MLB experiences.

With 694 Diamond Club seats at $44,550 each, annual ticket revenue nears $31 million. The one-time $60,000 PSL fee per seat adds $41,640,000, bringing total first-year Diamond Club revenue to over $72 million for this new MLB home.

Both the $900 Athletic Club and $550 Diamond Club tickets include all food, beverages, and parking. Furthermore, this all-inclusive pricing model is becoming more common in MLB stadiums.

In June, the A’s introduced the Dugout Club, which features prime views from the first and third baselines, gameday food and non-alcoholic beverages, a full bar for alcoholic purchases, and the option to purchase on-site parking. For those following MLB changes closely, these offerings mark a significant upgrade in stadium hospitality.
