Wilson says Aces will keep playing for Smith

Aces playing for Smith gave Las Vegas a clear emotional focus in Friday’s 93-73 win over Toronto. A’ja Wilson said the Aces will keep playing for NaLyssa Smith as the frontcourt adjusts without her.

A’ja Wilson did not frame the Las Vegas Aces’ first game without NaLyssa Smith as an exercise in replacing her. She framed it as something collective.

And, now, a teammate they intend to keep playing for.
