On Thursday night, the Las Vegas Aces (34-10,1-1) face the Seattle Storm (23-21, 1-1) in a definitive game 3 in Las Vegas at the Michelob ULTRA Arena.
The game will be televised on ESPN2 at 6:30pm PT.
The Aces have a chance to move on to the WNBA Semifinals which begin on Sunday, September 21 by eliminating the Seattle Storm.
If the Aces advance, they await the winner of Atlanta vs. Indiana. Seeing as the Aces are the No. 2 seed, games 1 and 2 will be played at home.
2025 WNBA Co-Defensive Player of the Year A’ja Wilson leads the Aces in almost every statistical category. She is just 1 free-throw away from moving past Maya Moore for the No. 7 spot on the league’s all-time playoff free-throws made.
In game 1 the Aces played suffocating defense on Seattle, holding Skylar Diggins and Nneka Ogwumike to 11 and 12 points. In game 2, the pair exploded, scoring 50 points combined for the Storm.
In game 2, the trio of Jewell Loyd, A’ja Wilson, and Jackie Young combined to score 59 of the Aces points.
For game 3, the Aces will have to rely on the tools that earned them their historic win streak. Loyd, Dana Evans, and NaLyssa Smith have come off the bench to give the Aces an edge.
The Aces are 27-18 in the playoffs since moving to Las Vegas in 2018 and 37-41 as a franchise.
