Aces on the hunt for first-round sweep

The Las Vegas Aces (34-10, 1-0) are on the hunt for a first-round sweep of the Seattle Storm (23-21, 0-1) in a best-of-three series on Tuesday, September 16 at Climate Pledge Arena at 6:30pm PT.

The game will be televised on ESPN.

The Aces have the possibility of earning a road win on Tuesday night against Seattle. With a road win, the Aces will face-off against the winner of the Atlanta Dream (30-14, 1-0) vs. the Indiana Fever (24-20, 0-1).

If the Aces suffer a loss, they will return home to Las Vegas for the decisive game 3.

Currently, the Aces 17-game win streak is the second-longest in league history.  The 2001 Los Angeles Sparks hold the longest win streak at 18.

The Aces have a track record of eliminating the Seattle Storm from the playoffs twice in the past 4 years.

The Aces carried the momentum from the regular season into game 1 and were firing on all cylinders.

The trio of Wilson, Gray, and Young combined for 52 of the Aces points in game 1. Dana Evans and NaLyssa Smith have added a cohesive spark for the Aces on this historic win streak into the playoffs.

11-year veteran Cheyenne Parker-Tyus has returned to the court in a major way for the Aces after giving birth to her son in July.

Should the Storm even up the series, game 3 will be played back in Las Vegas on Thursday, September 18. The game will be televised on ESPN2.
