After a 94-83 loss to the upstart Washington Mystics, the Las Vegas Aces (7-8) hit the road to take on the Phoenix Mercury (12-4) for the second time this season.

This begins a five-game road trip for the Aces. The Aces are 0-1 for the season against the Mercury.

The two teams tip-off at 3pm PT and will be televised on Vegas 34 and can be streamed on WNBA League Pass and NBA TV.

A’ja Wilson will lead the Aces to get back on track against the Mercury. Wilson is averaging 21.9 points, 9.8 rebounds, 2.8 blocks, and 2 steals per game.

Also on the floor for the Aces is Jackie Young. Young is just 42 points shy of reaching 3,000 career points. She’s averaging 18.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game. Jackie Young has been getting more looks since A’ja Wilson is most likely being double-teamed.

Over the last seven games, Jewell Loyd has increased her production on the court. Loyd is averaging 14.1 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.

As for the Mercury, they have been leaning on Satou Sabally heavily. Sabally is aided by Alyssa Thomas and Kahleah Copper. Sabally is averaging 19.3 points per game, a career best for her.

The Aces are 48-55 against the Mercury all-time and they are 21-30 in games played in Arizona. The Aces have won 13 of the last 15 against the Mercury
