- Who: Denver Nuggets vs. Sacramento Kings

- Where: Golden 1 Center (Sacramento, CA)
The Denver Nuggets (47-32) will play the Sacramento Kings (39-40) on Wednesday at the Golden 1 Center. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. PST.
The Nuggets hold a 3-0 advantage in their season series. However, Denver is currently on a four-game losing streak and has also failed to cover the spread in each loss.
Despite being tied for fourth place in the Western Conference, they risk dropping out of the top six into a play-in game.
In a surprising move, the Nuggets parted ways with head coach Michael Malone and general manager Calvin Booth on Tuesday, promoting assistant coach David Adelman to the interim head coach position.
In their last encounter on March 5, the Nuggets secured a 116-110 victory over the Kings in Denver. However, Sacramento managed to cover as an 8-point underdog, with the game finishing under the total (234).
Six players for Denver scored in double figures, with guard Russell Westbrook leading the way with 25 points. Center Nikola Jokic contributed 22 points, 15 rebounds, and 6 assists.
For Sacramento, forward DeMar DeRozan tallied a game-high 35 points in the previous loss to Denver, while center Jonas Valanciunas added 19 points, 13 rebounds, and 6 assists.
The Nuggets have won their last four matchups against the Kings and are 3-1 against the spread during that stretch.
However, Sacramento comes into the game on a three-game winning streak, successfully covering the spread in all three contests. Their latest victory came on Monday when they defeated the Detroit Pistons 127-117.
Guards Zach Lavine and DeRozan combined for an impressive 80 points, with Lavine recording a game-high 43 points. The Kings won as 5.5-point underdogs, and the game exceeded the total (231.5).
Sacramento has performed well against the spread, going 5-2 in their last seven games, while the under has hit in four of their last six outings.
Sacramento currently sits in ninth place, just one game ahead of the Dallas Mavericks, and has secured a play-in spot, either as the ninth or tenth seed.
With the Kings getting 4.5 points (-115), they could be a good option if you’re looking for a cushion instead of just betting on them to win.
Although they’ve covered five of their last seven contests, it’s worth noting that they are just 1-3 against the spread in their last four games against Denver.
Best Bet: Kings +4.5 points at -115 odds
