  • What: NCAA Final Four Game
  • When: April 5, 2025
  • Who:   Florida Gators vs. Auburn Tigers
  • Time:  3:09 p.m. PST
  • Where: Alamodome (San Antonio, TX)

The top-seeded Florida Gators (34-4) will face the top-seeded Auburn Tigers (32-5) on Saturday in the NCAA Tournament Final Four, tipping off at 3:09 p.m. PST from the Alamodome in San Antonio.

Florida advanced through the West Region with wins over Norfolk State (95-69), UConn (77-75), Maryland (87-71), and Texas Tech (84-79).

In the Elite 8, the Gators made a stunning comeback from a 75-66 deficit, led by Walter Clayton Jr.’s 30 points and Thomas Haugh’s 20 points and 11 rebounds.

The teams met on February 8 at Auburn, when Florida upset the then-No. 1 Tigers 90-81 as an 11-point underdog.

The Gators are 1-3 against the spread (ATS) in the tournament but 13-4 ATS in their last 17 games. Alijah Martin, who missed the earlier matchup, is expected to contribute this time.

Auburn reached the Final Four by defeating Alabama State (83-63), Creighton (82-70), Michigan (78-65), and Michigan State (70-64). They are 3-0 ATS in their last three games despite missing the cover against Alabama State.

In the Elite 8, Johni Broome shined with 25 points and 14 rebounds. Broome also had 18 points and 11 rebounds in the earlier meeting with Florida.

Take Florida to cover the -2.5 point spread as they look to return to the national title game for the first time since their back-to-back championships under coach Billy Donovan in 2006 and 2007.

Auburn has successfully covered the spread in their last three games, making it a challenging matchup for the Gators in this second encounter.

However, Florida’s depth gives them a significant advantage. Anticipate a tightly contested game, but keep an eye on Florida to come out of this one with the win.

Best Bet: Florida -2.5 Points at -110 odds
