Familiar rivals from the Western Conference will clash in Denver tonight as the Suns take on the Nuggets for the fourth time this season.

So far, the Nuggets have won two out of three matchups, but the Suns have a chance to level the series with a victory at Ball Arena.

Phoenix

Phoenix is having a rough time on the road, with an 11-20 record and only 2-6 against the spread in their last eight away games.

While Booker and Durant are capable scorers, the Suns find themselves in the bottom 10 for assists and often rely on isolation plays.

Meanwhile, Denver’s defense has been tough. It allows the fifth-fewest points in the paint and reduces easy scoring opportunities.

Compounding their troubles, the Suns are currently in the middle of a challenging road stretch, having played four consecutive away games.

Denver previously triumphed over them by 17 points in February, so it’s reasonable to anticipate another convincing victory for the Nuggets.

Denver

The Nugget have been a powerhouse at home, boasting a strong record of 21-9 and ranking third in the NBA for offensive efficiency.

Jokic is proving to be a formidable opponent, averaging 28.8 points, 12.8 rebounds, and 10.4 assists per game, having previously dominated Phoenix.

The Suns’ defense is struggling, sitting at 23rd in efficiency and allowing 116.0 points per game. Denver’s impressive home margin of +7.1 underscores their dominance.

The Nuggets also have a solid track record, going 9-4 to the Over in their last 13 home games.

Denver’s bench has been rising to the occasion, with players like Watson, Westbrook, and Braun making vital contributions. In contrast, Phoenix lacks bench depth, with their reserves ranked 28th in scoring.

Suns-Nuggets Best Bet

The Phoenix Suns currently rank 22nd in net rating over their last ten games, while the Denver Nuggets stand out as one of the top home teams in the NBA, boasting a 14-10-1 record against the spread.

In contrast, the Suns have struggled as road underdogs, posting a 5-9 record against the spread, the second worst in the league.

This matchup poses significant challenges for the Suns, as Denver features one of the premier offensive ratings in the NBA, likely allowing them to score with ease.

Although the Suns sit at 13th in net rating during their recent stretch, they still trail Denver by six points per 100 possessions.

The Nuggets to cover the 7.5-point spread is the smart pick for Friday’s game.

Best Bet: Nuggets -7.5 points at -105 odds
