On Tuesday, the Phoenix Suns will play the Memphis Grizzlies at the FedExForum in Memphis.

The Suns suffered a defeat against the Toronto Raptors, losing 127-109 on Sunday night, and they have now dropped five of their last six games.

Phoenix

The Phoenix Suns average 113.2 points per game, ranking them 14th in the NBA. Their defense allows an average of 115.3 points per game, placing them 20th.

They are 11th in field goal percentage (47.4%) and 6th in three-point shooting (37.3%). Defensively, the Suns are 12th in field goal percentage allowed (46.2%) and 15th in three-point percentage allowed (35.9%).

Kevin Durant leads the team in scoring, contributing an average of 26.9 points per game, closely followed by Devin Booker, who averages 26.1 points.

Together with three other players, they ensure that five Suns score in double figures. Booker also leads the team in assists, recording 6.7 per game.

On the boards, Phoenix averages 42.5 rebounds per game—9.2 offensive and 33.3 defensive—led by Mason Plumlee, who grabs 6.2 rebounds a game.

Regarding defense, Booker averages 1.1 steals per game, while Durant is the team leader in blocked shots, averaging 1.4 per contest.

Memphis

The Memphis Grizzlies boast an impressive average of 122.8 points per game, ranking them as the second-best scoring team in the NBA.

However, they allow an average of 115.8 points per game, placing them 22nd in that category.

In terms of shooting, Memphis stands fifth in field goal percentage at 48.3% and eighth in three-point shooting at 37.2%. Defensively, they are third in field goal percentage allowed at 45.1% and fifth in three-point percentage allowed at 34.9%.

Jaren Jackson Jr. is the team’s leading scorer, with an average of 22.8 points per game, followed closely by Ja Morant, who averages 20.5 points.

Additionally, three other players contribute to the scoring with double-digit averages.

Morant also leads in assists, averaging 7.4 per game. The Grizzlies grab an average of 47.9 rebounds per game, including 13.3 offensive and 34.6 defensive boards, with Zach Edey leading the team at 7.7 rebounds per game.

Jackson Jr. is the team’s top performer in steals, averaging 1.3 per game, and excels as a rim protector with 1.7 blocked shots per game.

Suns-Grizzlies Best Bet

Memphis ranks second in the NBA, averaging 122 points per game, and boasts the fifth-best field goal percentage along with the eighth-best mark for 3-point shooting.

In contrast, Phoenix sits at 12th for field goal percentage allowed and 15th for 3-point shooting defense. The Suns are currently scoring 113.2 points per game but are giving up even more, with an allowance of 115.3 points per game.

They’ve only managed to cover the spread in one of their last six games, in just one of their last five matchups against Memphis, and only once in their last seven outings on the road.

Although the trade deadline has passed for Phoenix, lingering tensions among certain players, including Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal, may influence the game’s outcome.

Since the trade deadline on February 6, Phoenix has struggled, going 2-5 both straight up and against the spread. Take the Grizzlies to cover this 7.5 point spread.

Best Bet: Grizzlies -7.5 points at -110 odds.
