Lady Rebels take on in-state rival UNR on Saturday

The UNLV Lady Rebels tip-off against in-state rival UNR on Saturday at 1 p.m. before having a much-needed Mountain West bye week.

This game is part of the Silver State Series presented by America First.

The Lady Rebels holds the all-time record over UNR, 45-14.

Just two weeks ago, the Lady Rebels got a 68-59 win over UNR.

Under coach Lindy La Rocque, the Lady Rebels are 8-2 against UNR.

UNR is coming into this game off of a 67-55 win over Fresno State.

Lexie Givens leads the Wolfpack, averaging 12.8 points per game and 6.7 points per game.

Last time on the court, the Lady Rebels, led by Kiara Jackson, came out firing on all cylinders as they claimed a 75-65 victory over San Diego State on Wednesday night at the Cox Pavillion.

Jackson led the Lady Rebels, scoring a career-high 27 points to secure the win.

She scored 17 after the first half. Jackson went 6-for-12 from the floor, 4-for-6 from the 3-point line, and 1-for-1 from the free-throw line. She also dished out nine assists for the game.

Amarachi Kimpson also came up in double-digits, scoring 12 points, going 4-for-7 from the field and 4-for-4 from the free-throw line.

The Lady Rebels will have another midweek bye before visiting Colorado State on Saturday, February 22 at 12 p.m. PT/1 p.m. MT.
