Looking to shake off a rough January, the Vegas Golden Knights are getting reinforcements at the right time.
According to insider Kevin Weekes, the Golden Knights are approaching a deal with former St. Louis Blues winger Brandon Saad.

Elliotte Friedman also confirmed the deal, saying that Saad has agreed to a one year contract worth a prorated $1.5 million.

Saad officially became a free agent on Friday after the Blues put him on waivers for the purpose of mutual contract termination.
A two-time Stanley Cup champion with the Chicago Blackhawks, Saad currently has 16 points (seven goals, nine assists) in 43 games this year.
