After back-to-back wins against No. 22 Utah State and San Diego State, the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels take on Wyoming on Tuesday at 8 p.m. on CBS Sports Network at the Thomas & Mack Center.
The Runnin’ Rebels have won seven of their last 10 games and are tied for third in the Mountain West conference. They are 8-1 at home.
The Runnin’ Rebels have three players scoring in double-digits. Mountain West player of the week, Dedan Thomas, Jr., leads the Runnin’ Rebels, averaging 15.8 points per game.
In their win against San Diego State, Thomas, Jr. scored 19 points and dished out five assists. Brooklyn Hicks added 13 points and Jaden Henley added 12 points.
Jeremiah Cherry, Julian Rishwain, Jaden Henley, and Jailen Bedford average between 7.7 and 11.5 points per game. Cherry leads the Runnin’ Rebels in rebounds, averaging 5.3 rebounds per game and 1.5 blocks per game.
The Cowboys come in from three-straight losses, including a 61-53 loss to New Mexico.
The Cowboys are led by Obi Agbim, averaging 18.8 points per game. Jordan Nesbitt is leading the team in rebounding, averaging 7.2 rebounds per game.
Wyoming was predicted to finish ninth in the Mountain West conference.
