Runnin’ Rebels looking to get back on track

The UNLV Runnin’ Rebels have dropped their last two games on the road and are to get back on track against No. 22 Utah State Aggies at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Thomas & Mack Center.

The game will be televised on CBS Sports Network.

The Runnin’ Rebels (9-7,3-2 MW) are 7-1 at home this season. The Runnin’ Rebels shot over 50 percent from the floor for three straight games.

Dedan Thomas, Jr. and Jaden Henley both scored 19 points each in UNLV’s loss to Colorado State.

The Runnin’ Rebels have three players averaging in double digits this season.

Thomas averages 16.1 points per game; Julian Rishwain, Jeremiah Cherry, Jailen Bedford, and Jaden Henley are averaging between 8.8 and 12.0 points per game.

Cherry leads the Runnin’ Rebels In rebounding, averaging 5.6 rebounds per game and 1.5 blocks per game.

The Aggies (16-1, 6-0) have won all six Mountain West games this season.

Utah State is led by Ian Martinez, averaging 16.8 points per game, and Mason Falslev, who is averaging 16.4 ppg.
