Lady Rebels look to keep rolling

The UNLV Lady Rebels have been rolling into conference play just smoothly. The Lady Rebels (13-4, 5-0 MW) are looking for their seventh win in a row and sixth straight win in MW play.

UNLV meets the Air Force Falcons at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Cox Pavillion.

In their 88-73 win over New Mexico, McKinna Brackens led the way, scoring a career-high 20 and going 8-for-12 from the floor. Aaliyah Alexander scored 18 points and was 8-for-15 from the floor. Kiara Jackson scored 17 points and went 7-for-12 from the floor and 3-for-5 from the 3-point line.

Air Force comes into this game with an overall record of 10-6 and 0-6 in the Mountain West.

Air Force is reeling from a 90-84 loss to San Diego State on the road.

Senior Madison Smith and junior Milahnie Perry lead the Falcons. Perry averages 16.6 points per game; Smith averages 14.9 points per game. Jayda McNabb leads the Falcons in rebounding, averaging 8.0 rebounds per game.

Alyssa Brown grabbed 15 rebounds (10 were defensive and five were offensive) – four shy of her career high.

The Lady Rebels hold the all-time lead over Air Force at 51-5. They have won 23 straight against the Falcons.
