The UNLV Lady Rebels remain undefeated in the MW with an 88-73 win over New Mexico.
Top of the Class
The Lady Rebels (13-4) are now atop the Mountain West conference at 5-0. UNLV also handed New Mexico their first conference loss of the season. The Lady Rebels are also 21-0 against their MW rivals on the road.
A Little Commotion for the Team
The Lady Rebels had four different players score in double figures.
McKinna Brackens led the way, scoring a career-high 20 points. Brackens was also perfect from the free-throw line shooting 2-for-2.
Aaliyah Alexander scored 18 points and was 8-for-15 from the floor.
Lobos Down but not out
The Lobos came out swinging to take the 60-58 lead to start the fourth quarter.
The Lady Rebels fired right back with a basket from Brackens to tie the game. Destinee Hooks answered right back with four consecutive shots to put the Lobos back up.
UNLV returned to take control and close the game, scoring five straight points.

The Lady Rebels will return home to host Air Force on Wednesday at 6 p.m. PT at the Cox Pavillion.
