Without a doubt Cesar Almeida has thrown his hat into the knockout of the year discussions early as he knocked out Abdul Razak Alhassan with a vicious left hook that found its mark square on the chin at the end of the first round.

Cesar Almeida was definitely impressed with himself. But this knockout if him most impressive knockout because it came with a perk. With his crowd pleasing performance he was able to earn another victory on Saturday night. Almeida is the winner of $50,000 knockout bonus which is awarded to the fighter that has the best knockout of the night. Not bad for a quick night’s work. Bonus money is great to have, so what does Saturday nights star plan to do with the money?

With this type of performance, Almeida hopes this springboards him from here on out. Almeida wants to attract bigger names and his performance might get him exactly what he wants. Guys in the locker room will start to take notice and his competition will get better as he continues to climb in the middleweight ranks.
