Could Tom Brady’s broadcasting career be a quick one?

As reported by Larry Brown Sports, Tom Brady has signed 10-year, $375 million deal with Fox to serve as the lead analyst for NFL games. Considering Brady took a year off from everything to learn broadcasting skills and just began calling games on live TV this season.

In October 2024, Brady was approved as a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. It has been reported that Mark Davis will give Brady a bigger role in the Raiders affairs.

Is that Tom Brady may not found the challenge in broadcasting or it turned out not to be his cup of tea? Does he find more of a challenge in turning the Raiders organization around.

The Athletic’s Richard Deitsch predicted that Tom Brady would take a step back from the broadcasting booth after one season. Deitsch has mentioned that he didn’t think that Tom Brady would stick with it for more than 3-4 years at the most.

Regarding the prediction, Deitsch said, I’ve previously said I’d put down big money that Brady will not finish his 10-year, $375 million contract with Fox, given all his various business interests away from broadcasting, including ownership. That remains true. The safer prediction would be that Brady walks away from his Fox deal after three or four years. But I’m going bold and saying Brady gets deeper involved with the Las Vegas Raiders in the offseason and decides to go all in with NFL ownership and his production company by the start of the next NFL season.”

If he does leave broadcasting, he would be walking away from $340 million.

The question now stands, how much more of Tom Brady’s time will he continue to give FOX before he decides to go all in to help the Raiders rebuild the organization into a contender?

As the season nears it’s end, it will be interesting to see which direction Brady decides to go.
