Conor McGregor returns to the ring

According to the Sporting News, ex-MMA star Conor McGregor has agreed to make his return back to sports after his sexual assault case ended in civil court in the ring with Logan Paul.

It may not be the octagon, but it’s close.

The former UFC, MMA fighter has agreed to a boxing bout against Paul in India.

McGregor may be a tad bit rusty seeing as he hasn’t fought since 2021 against Dustin Poirier. In that particular match, he broke his leg and lost. He was also scheduled to fight Michael Chandler in June, but McGregor pulled out at the last minute with a foot injury.

It has been over seven years since Logan Paul’s last fight professionally against Heavyweight champion, Floyd Mayweather in 2017. He lost that fight via 10 rounds in a TKO.

Assuming that the fight does happen, McGregor will be the latest high-profile name to go against a Paul brother.

If you remember back in November, former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson battled against Paul’s younger brother, Jake, defeating Tyson by unanimous decision. McGregor would be in company with Nate Diaz, Tyron Woodley Mike Perry, Anderson Silva, and Ben Askren as other UFC stars to step into the ring with a Paul brother.
