WNBA Bets: Will A’ja Wilson continue her 25-point scoring streak?

© Wendell Cruz-USA TODAY Sports
  • What: WNBA regular season game
  • When: Saturday, June 15
  • Who: New York Liberty vs. Las Vegas Aces
  • Tip-off: 3:00 p.m. ET
  • Where: T-Mobile Arena (Las Vegas)

Saturday’s WNBA slate features just two games, but all eyes will be on the Las Vegas Aces and New York Liberty as they face off for the first time since the 2023 Finals.

The Aces snapped their three-game losing streak on Thursday against the Phoenix Mercury, yet their defense remains a concern. In contrast, the Liberty are riding high on a seven-game winning streak.

The prop we want to target in this one will be regarding A’ja Wilson.

She’s supremely talented and the front-runner for MVP for a reason. However, with that being said, her total points prop is currently sitting at 28.5 points.

This is not meant to be a slight against Wilson, who could easily exceed this point total again. Still, in a game against an opponent as talented as the Liberty, the Aces will likely have a different offensive strategy.

Aces-Liberty Best Player Prop Bet

I expect Wilson to defer to her teammates to get them more involved to ease the scoring burden she’s been carrying. Under 28.5 points is -115 to -130 at most sportsbooks.

I would bet this down to 26 points and see if you can find an opportunity to bet on Wilson’s assists prop today, as she’s most likely going over that number.

Can the Las Vegas Aces defense regain championship form?
