Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final could be the series decider. The Florida Panthers have secured a commanding 3-0 series lead over the Edmonton Oilers and are aiming for a sweep with a win on Saturday.
The Oilers, facing a formidable challenge, are yet to find a solution against the Panthers. Florida dominated the first two games, allowing just one goal combined, and clinched a 4-3 victory in a high-scoring Game 3 at Rogers Place on Thursday, adding to the tension of the series.
The @EdmontonOilers have been resilient all season and will need to snap a three-game losing skid to keep their #StanleyCup dreams alive.

The Florida Panthers can clinch their first-ever championship on Saturday as they face the Edmonton Oilers in Game 4 of the 2024 NHL Stanley Cup Final in Edmonton, Alberta.
The Panthers (52-24-6), participating in their third Stanley Cup Final, have been impressive with a 15-5 record in the 2024 NHL playoffs.
Meanwhile, the Oilers (49-27-6), aiming to become the first Canadian team to win the Stanley Cup since the Montreal Canadiens in 1993. They have a storied history with five championships since joining the NHL in the 1979-1980 season. Edmonton holds a 5-2 record in the Final.
Florida Panthers advantages
Against Edmonton, Florida has outscored the Oilers 11-4 over the first three games despite being outshot by an average of more than five shots per game.

Sergei Bobrovsky has been outstanding, posting a .953 save percentage in the series. He’s saved 4.53 goals above expected in all situations.
Meanwhile, the Panthers have been highly efficient, converting 15.71 percent of their shots and effectively neutralizing Edmonton’s potent power play.
Edmonton Oilers struggles
The Oilers have dominated 55.60 percent of expected goals and 53.85 percent of high-danger chances at 5-on-5 in this series. However, they’ve been outscored 4-0 in those high-danger situations, which has been a crucial factor.
Edmonton’s penalty kill, a strong point throughout the playoffs, has remained effective, going 8-for-9. Despite this, they still have a special-teams differential of minus-1, as the Panthers have successfully killed all 10 of the Oilers’ power plays.
With only four goals, all at 5-on-5, Edmonton’s scorers are quickly listed: Defensemen Philip Broberg and Mattias Ekholm and forwards Ryan MacLeod and Warren Foegele.
While Connor McDavid has contributed three assists, Leon Draisaitl, usually a consistent playoff performer, has been effectively neutralized.
Connor McDavid (5-29—34) needs one point to tie Doug Gilmour (1993), Wayne Gretzky (1984) & Mike Bossy (1981) for the 8th most in a playoff year. #StanleyCup

Stanley Cup Final Game 4 Best Bets
I have the Oilers bouncing back in this one and avoiding the sweep. The best bet is Connor McDavid’s anytime goal.
The Oilers are only -115 on the moneyline, while you can get plus-money odds on betting on McDavid to score an anytime goal. I am seeing +130 to +140 odds on anytime goal for McDavid, I love those odds.
McDavid played much better last game and figured out how to set himself and his teammates up for success in this one.
It should also be a high-scoring game, so I would be open to betting on the low total of 5.5 goals.
