The UNLV Rebels beat the Boston College Eagles 79-70 Sunday night in the second round of the NIT Tournament.

The Rebels used an 11-0 run in the second half, led by back-to-back baskets from Jackie Johnson III, a three-pointer from Keylan Boone, and a dunk by Kaleb Boone to go up 63-54 with just over eight minutes to play.
The Eagles got within five points before Justin Webster answered with a three-pointer to keep a two-possession lead, and UNLV never looked back.

Keylan Boone led the Rebels with 19 points and eight rebounds. He also hit five three-pointers and blocked three shots. Boone’s twin brother Kalib added 16 points and three blocked shots. Freshman Dedan Thomas contributed 17 points and five assists.
The Rebels will now move to play Seton Hall in the quarterfinals Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. on ESPN2.
