Brady continued by emphasizing organizational growth and process over results. “It’s a tremendous amount of resilience, adversity, discipline, determination, communication… I think it’s always process over outcomes… everyone has to come together.”
Notably, at no point did Brady directly reference Maxx Crosby failed trade to Baltimore.

Brady’s response may not have provided clarity but it revealed plenty. In situations like this, silence often signals one of three things:

While the organization has stayed quiet, Crosby has taken a different route addressing the situation head-on. “I am where I’m supposed to be,” Crosby said recently, signaling acceptance despite the unusual circumstances.
Brady’s message about unity and commitment may not have been accidental. The Raiders are coming off back-to-back losing seasons and are still trying to establish a consistent identity. A situation involving their best defensive player creates potential for distraction.
