Las Vegas Lights FC plays its third and final road match before returning to Cashman Field, visiting FC Tulsa at 5 p.m. PT Saturday at ONEOK Field in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Both clubs enter level on points early, and that makes this one simple: take something off the trip, then bring momentum home.
Las Vegas is 0-1-1 and sitting seventh in the Western Conference, while Tulsa is 0-1-1 and 10th. Even so, the table barely has time to settle in March, so Saturday is more about performance and rhythm than math.
What the Lights bring
The Lights have already shown they can change a match late. They opened the season with a 1-1 draw at Orange County after Nighte Pickering scored in the 84th minute. Then they nearly stole another road result in Colorado Springs, where Abraham Okyere scored twice in four minutes to erase a 2-0 deficit and make it 2-2. However, Las Vegas conceded an 85th-minute own goal and lost 3-2.
That two-game sample gives the Lights an identity to lean on. When they stay connected defensively and then hit with intent, they can tilt games fast. Now they need the full 90, not just the last 20.
What to watch in Tulsa
ONEOK Field can force decisions with tight spaces and quick transitions, so the Lights will need clean first touches and smart spacing between the lines. If Las Vegas wins second balls and protects central areas, it can keep Tulsa from settling into comfortable buildup. Then, once the match stretches, the Lights’ late-game punch becomes a real weapon again.
Just as important, Las Vegas has one more chance to sharpen details on the road. After this, the spotlight flips to Cashman.
How to watch
