According to ESPN.com, Las Vegas Aces MVP A’ja Wilson is listed as questionable for tonight’s game against the Seattle Storm.
Wilson has missed three consecutive games while being in concussion protocol since suffering a head injury in the third quarter against the Los Angeles Sparks on June 11.
Sparks forward Dearica Hamby struck Wilson in the head and Wilson left with 1:17 in the third quarter. Wilson was placed in concussion protocol two days later after being evaluated by a doctor.
The Aces ended up losing the game after Wilson’s absence.
The Aces have gone 1-2 since Wilson has been out. With A’ja Wilson being out, the brunt of the offensive load has been on the trio of Chelsea Gray, Jewell Loyd, and Jackie Young.
The absence of Wilson has been felt tremendously. She leads the team in almost every statistical category.
The Aces take on the Seattle Storm at home tonight at 7pm PT.
