The Cleveland Cavaliers will play the Indiana Pacers in Game 4 of their best-of-seven Eastern Conference semifinals on Sunday in Indianapolis.
The Pacers currently hold a 2-1 lead in the series, and the game will start at 5 p.m. PST at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
During the regular season, the Pacers bested the Cavaliers 3-1. In a strong comeback, the Cavs dominated the Pacers 126-104 in Game 3, following two losses at home.
Donovan Mitchell performed excellently, scoring 43 points and grabbing 9 rebounds. The Cavaliers took control in the second quarter, outscoring the Pacers 32-13 and never looking back.
Indiana struggled on the boards, allowing Cleveland to secure 18 offensive rebounds that translated to 31 second-chance points.
In contrast, the Pacers managed only 9 second-chance points. Tyrese Haliburton had a tough outing, finishing with just 4 points in 30 minutes, while Bennedict Mathurin led the Pacers with 23 points.
Cleveland has remained unbeaten on the road during the playoffs and boasts a remarkable 33-11 record away from home this season.
They have averaged 123.0 points per game in the postseason, with only one instance of scoring less than 119.
The Pacers, however, have an impressive 32-12 record at home and have won 4 of their last 5 encounters with the Cavaliers, including during the regular season.
Notably, all five of the Cavs’ postseason victories have come by 9 points or more, and they have won 12 of their last 14 games, including their last seven, by at least 6 points.
