The top-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers are set to battle the fourth-seeded Indiana Pacers in Game 3 of their Eastern Conference semifinals series on Friday at 7:30 p.m. PST at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
The Pacers currently lead the series 2-0.
Despite finishing with the best regular-season record in the East (64-18), the Cavaliers have lost both games to Indiana, falling behind in the series.
In Game 2, Tyrese Haliburton’s last-second 3-pointer helped the Pacers secure a 120-119 win as 6-point underdogs.
This came just two days after their Game 1 victory of 121-112, where they were 8.5-point underdogs.
Donovan Mitchell tried to rally the Cavaliers in Game 2, scoring 48 points, while Indiana’s Myles Turner led with 23 points and 8 rebounds. The Pacers shot an impressive 51.8% from the field.
While I think the Cavaliers win this one, it’s going to be a close game.
