Fans React: Golden Knights defeat Predators 5-3 Saturday night

LAS VEGAS — The Golden Knights beat the Nashville Predators 5-3 on Saturday night. The win clinched the Pacific Division for the Golden Knights.

The Golden Knights are at 107 points on the season, surpassing the Stars by just one point with two games remaining.

Jordan Oesterle gave the Predators an early 1-0 lead in the first period. Brett Howden and Nicolas Roy gave Vegas an early 2-1 lead in the second period. Alexander Holtz added a goal in the second period to increase the lead to 3-1.

Jonathan Marchessault and Marc Del Gaizo added goals to tie the game at 3-3 in the third period. Noah Hanifin and Ivan Barbashev sealed the win with goals to give Vegas the 5-3 win.

Adin Hill added 17 saves while allowing three goals. The Golden Knights will head to Calgary to face the Flames on Tuesday.
