LAS VEGAS — The Golden Knights have lost two in a row. They lost to the Jets Thursday night 4-0.

Mark Scheifele and Adam Lowry got the Jets to an early 2-0 lead in the first period. Colin Miller added a goal in the second period to increase the lead to 3-0.

The Jets made a surprising decision to sit Connor Hellebuyck in this one for Eric Comrie. Comrie delivered a terrific shutout performance with 26 saves. Cole Perfetti added a goal in the third period to seal the victory for the Jets.

The loss by the Golden Knights decreased their lead in the Western Conference and in the Pacific Division. The Kings are only three points behind the Golden Knights in the Pacific Division race.

The Golden Knights head to Calgary to play the Flames on Saturday.
