LAS VEGAS — The Golden Knights have won their last three games. They defeated the Lightning Sunday night 4-2.
Nicolas Roy scored first, while Tomas Hertl and Jack Eichel added goals to take the lead to 3-0 after the first period. Nicolas Hague also added a goal for Vegas, while Nick Paul and Nikita Kucherov scored for the Lightning.
Ilya Samsonov had an outstanding performance tonight with 35 Saves. The win moved the Golden Knights to tied for second in the Western Conference with the Dallas Stars, both with 92 points.
The Lightning’s second loss in a row dropped them to 5th in the Eastern Conference. They are now trailing the Hurricanes and Maple Leafs.
