The Detroit Pistons will play the Boston Celtics in an Eastern Conference matchup on Wednesday at Little Caesars Arena.

Detroit’s overall record is 32-26, including 15-13 at home, while Boston’s is impressive 42-16, including 24-6 on the road.

Both teams are on impressive winning streaks. Detroit has secured seven consecutive victories, including a 106-97 triumph over the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday.

Meanwhile, Boston also won six games in a row after defeating the Toronto Raptors 111-101 on Tuesday.

Additionally, Jaylen Brown (thigh) is questionable for Boston.

Boston

The Celtics are aiming to accomplish what the Clippers were unable to do on Monday: halt the Pistons’ current seven-game winning streak.

The Pistons secured a victory over the Clippers with a score of 106-97. A significant part of their success can be credited to Cade Cunningham, who nearly achieved a double-double with 32 points and nine rebounds.

Cunningham has now recorded at least 30 points in four consecutive games. The former No. 1 overall pick enters Wednesday’s match with averages of 25.8 points, 9.5 assists, and 6.5 rebounds per game.

Additionally, center Jalen Duren is also performing well for Detroit, averaging a double-double with 11.1 points and 10.3 rebounds per game.

Detroit

The Celtics faced the Raptors on Tuesday riding a five-game winning streak, and they extended it to six with a solid 111-101 victory. This win showcased a collective effort from the team, with several players stepping up.

Derrick White was particularly impressive, sinking 6 of 11 three-pointers for a total of 22 points, alongside five assists and three steals.

With this performance, the Celtics reaffirmed their status as one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference. They currently hold the second spot, just behind the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Leading the charge for Boston is six-time NBA All-Star Jayson Tatum, who is averaging 26.6 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game.

Celtics-Pistons Best Bet

The Pistons have lost the last 12 to the Celtics. This one means more to them as this isn’t the same old Pistons team from seasons past. They’re firmly in the playoff picture.

Take the Pistons to cover the 4.5 point spread in this one.

Best Bet: Pistons +4.5 Points at -105 odds.
