Memphis
The Memphis Grizzlies entered the All-Star break following a 128-114 defeat to the Los Angeles Clippers last Wednesday. Desmond Bane was the standout performer for Memphis, scoring 23 points in the loss.
However, the team missed its star point guard, Ja Morant, who suffered a knee injury. The good news is that Morant has been cleared to return on Thursday night in Indianapolis.

Despite the setback against the Clippers, Memphis has managed to cover the spread in three of their last four road games.
With a record of 36-18 against the spread, they are among the elite teams in the league, alongside the Celtics, ranking in the top seven for both offensive and defensive efficiency.
Indiana
The Indiana Pacers capped off the NBA All-Star break with a thrilling 134-130 victory over the Washington Wizards last Wednesday.
This win was significantly bolstered by the performance of their bench, particularly Obi Toppin, who contributed an impressive 31 points and 10 rebounds. Bennedict Mathurin added 28 points coming off the bench.

TJ McConnell also played a key role, finishing with 10 points and nine assists as a substitute. Overall, the Pacers’ bench scored a remarkable 73 points.
Additionally, Tyrese Haliburton chipped in with 20 points and should be feeling rejuvenated after missing out on the All-Star Game for the first time since 2022.
Notably, the Pacers have triumphed in nine of their last 13 matchups against teams from the Western Conference.
Grizzlies-Pacers Best Bet
I like the Grizzlies here and even though -140 seems like a ton of juice, you can play them on the spread if you’d like. Every angle I’ve looked at in this matchup has the Grizzlies coming out ahead.
Best Bet: Grizzlies Money Line at -140 odds.
