Runnin’ Rebels hit the road to Wyoming

The UNLV Runnin’ Rebels hit the road this Saturday to take on Wyoming at 2 p.m.

The game will be broadcast on the Mountain West Network and ESPN Radio.

The Runnin’ Rebels are looking to snap a five-game losing streak against the Cowboys. A combined 15 points have decided the losing streak.

The Cowboys have lost two straight games and dropped three of their last four games.

The Runnin’ Rebels have two players scoring in double-digits this season: Dedan Thomas, Jr and Jaden Henley.

Thomas Jr averages 16.2 points per game, while Henley averages 11.3 points per game.

Jeremiah Cherry, Jailen Bedford, Julian Rishwain, and Jalen Hill average between 9.6 and 8.1 points per game.

Cherry leads the Runnin’ Rebels in rebounds, averaging 5.2 rebounds per game and 1.4 blocks per game.

Thomas Jr leads the team with 4.7 assists per game.

In their loss against Boise State, Thomas, Jr. led the Runnin’ Rebels, scoring 20 points. Cherry scored 19, and Rishwain dished out four assists and grabbed a career-high nine rebounds.

The two teams met last on Jan. 21. The Cowboys won that meeting 63-31.
