Lady Rebels host New Mexico at home

The UNLV Lady Rebels host New Mexico at home at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cox Pavillion.

The Lady Rebels won the first meeting between the two teams 88-73. UNLV owns the all-time record against New Mexico 43-28.

In the Lindy La Rocque era, the Lady Rebels are 6-3 against the Lobos, going 3-2 at home and 3-1 in Albuquerque.

The Lobos are led by Destinee Hooks, averaging 16.5 points per game.

Hulda Joaquim leads the Lobos, averaging 7.1 rebounds per game.

The Lady Rebels currently have four players averaging in double-figures.

Amarachi Kimpson leads the Lady Rebels in scoring, averaging 13.9 points per game.

Kiara Jackson is the Lady Rebels’ second-leading scorer, averaging 12.3 points per game. Jackson also leads the Lady Rebels in assists, averaging 5.3 assists per game.

In the Lady Rebels last game, The Lady Rebels did not let up as they dominated Utah State in an 89-51 win on Wednesday night.

It was a team effort to get the win.

Four Lady Rebels scored in double-digits.

Meadow Roland led the Lady Rebels, scoring 16 points and 8-for-9 from the floor. Roland also tied the team lead for rebounds, grabbing down seven for the night.

McKinna Brackens racked up 14 points and seven rebounds against the Aggies. Kiara Jackson led the team with seven assists and had two steals.

The Lady Rebels will host San Diego State at home on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
