WATCH: Golden Knights forward ready to play video games

Vegas Golden Knights forward Nicolas Roy is ready to play some video games after the team’s 3-2 victory against the Dallas Stars at T-Mobile Arena on Friday.

“We might have a couple of guys playing,” Roy said. “Obviously, we’ve got a lot of games lately, so try to relax a little bit.”

Asked whether he’s an X-Box or PlayStation guy, Roy responded that he’s an X-Box guy and will be playing Call of Duty: Warzone whenever he gets a moment.

The Golden Knights will take Saturday and Sunday off before returning to the ice on Monday to prepare for its three-game road trip in Winnipeg on Thursday.

Roy scored the game-winner against the Stars 68 seconds after the Golden Knights took the lead on the power play. It was Roy’s sixth goal of the season.

Vegas has been on a rough stretch of games. They had a small break between Tuesday’s game against the Edmonton Oilers and Friday’s outing against the Stars.

But before Tuesday’s game against the Oilers, the Golden Knights played seven games in 10 days.

“We have a couple days here to breathe a little bit, relax, recharge,” Vegas defenseman Shea Theodore said.

So rest is a welcomed sight for the Golden Knights.

They might even play some video games to relax a little bit.
