The Jacksonville Jaguars are set to face off against the Buffalo Bills in a crucial AFC showdown as part of a Monday Night Football doubleheader.
The Jaguars are desperate for a victory and cannot afford to drop to 0-3, while the Bills aim to achieve a 3-0 start for the first time since their 4-0 start in 2020.
Jacksonville Jaguars
On the other hand, Jacksonville is 0-2 after scoring only three touchdowns in its first two games.
Despite having a top-10 defense, the Jags are averaging just 15 points per game, with quarterback Trevor Lawrence having only 26 completions for 382 yards in two games.
The Jaguars allow the third-most passing yards per game (245.5), indicating that Buffalo’s quarterback, Josh Allen, may have a big day throwing the ball.

The Jaguars have a wealth of talent and has faced some tough losses to the Dolphins and Browns recently. The defense has held strong, allowing just 20 points against the Dolphins and 16 points against the Browns. However, the offense has been struggling.
Trevor Lawrence, despite a challenging season, will have the opportunity to challenge the Bills’ linebacking group and secondary, which has been dealing with early-season injuries.
Buffalo Bills
The Bills and Jaguars are heading in opposite directions. Buffalo has won eight of its last nine games, dating back to last year, while Jacksonville has lost seven of its last eight.
Buffalo’s Highmark Stadium has become a fortress, with the team boasting a formidable 15-3 regular season record at home since 2022. Their recent track record of winning five of their last six games there only adds to their dominance.

The Bills defense has been solid against the pass, which could pose a challenge for Lawrence.
The Bills have demonstrated strong performance on both offense and defense, ranking third in points per game (32.5) and eighth in points against per game (19.0).
Jags-Bills Best Bet
We are in a for a good battle between these two teams tonight. The Jags pass rush caused problems for the Bills over in London last year, but I’m not sure they can reproduce that. Everything seems to indicate the Bills have the advantage in this matchup.
That being said, I’m going to take the Jags and the 5.5 points, due to them being the 0-2 team. While I believe the Bills still win this matchup, I’ll take the Jags to cover in this one.
