The NFL won’t punish Davante Adams for shoving a photographer at Arrowhead Stadium during the 2022 season.
Adams was charged with a misdemeanor assault in Oct. 2022, but had that charge dismissed in June 2023.
The NFL continued its investigation but informed Adams on Saturday (Feb. 10) that he wouldn’t face any discipline for the incident.
Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network was the first to report the news.
The NFL informed #Raiders WR Davante Adams he won’t be disciplined for shoving a photographer following a 2022 game in Kansas City, per sources.

The incident occurred on Oct. 10, 2022 after a Week 5 road loss against the Kansas City Chiefs.
While exiting the field, a frustrated Adams ran into a photographer and shoved him to the ground. He apologized in the locker room several minutes later.
“Before I answer anything else, I want to apologize to the guy — I seen some guy running off the field, and he ran or jumped in front of me, coming off the field and I bumped into him and kind of pushed him and he ended up on the ground,” he said — attributing it to ‘frustration’ on his part.
The photographer, identified as Park Zabley, was allegedly diagnosed with concussion symptoms after being transported to a hospital. He also suffered whiplash and a headache.

The Las Vegas Raiders lost that game 29-30 after failing to convert a go-ahead two-point conversion with four minutes left.
Davante Adams had three catches for 124 yards and two touchdowns — including a 58-yard TD catch in the first quarter and a 48-yard TD catch to bring the Raiders within one of a tie.
“I mean, I wouldn’t look at the KC incident as something that – I don’t want to say I didn’t learn from it because that makes it sound like I’m not remorseful and stuff like that — but it was just an instance,” said Adams in May, via The Athletic.
“It’s not something that I needed that to happen for me to know that was not the right thing to do. So, it was just something that happened.”
With the NFL wrapping up its probe, we can now confirm that Adams won’t be missing any games in 2024 as a result.
