The UFC’s historic White House event delivered exactly what Dana White and TKO executives hoped it would: massive global attention. On Thursday, Paramount+ officially released viewership figures for UFC Freedom 250. Confirming the event was one of the most-watched mixed martial arts broadcasts in history.

According to the streaming giant, 17 million unique viewers across the United States and Latin America tuned in to watch the groundbreaking event held on the South Lawn of the White House. The event also became the biggest exclusive live event in Paramount+ history.

Paramount+ reported that UFC Freedom 250 averaged 8.2 million viewers throughout the broadcast. The total audience figure of 17 million represents unique viewers who watched at least one minute of the event.

The numbers were compiled using Nielsen ratings in the United States and Adobe Analytics throughout Latin America. Notably, the reported audience does not include delayed viewing, DVR playback, or +1 viewership metrics, meaning the final audience total could continue to grow.

Additional international viewership figures from Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and other global markets are expected to be released next week.

White House Event Delivers Massive Exposure

The unprecedented event took place on the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, D.C. Making it the first UFC card ever held at the official residence of the President of the United States.

Months of promotion, political attention, mainstream media coverage, and celebrity appearances helped transform UFC Freedom 250 into one of the most talked-about sporting events of the year.

Despite concerns leading up to the event regarding weather delays, security logistics, and the challenges of staging a live combat sports event on federal property, the UFC ultimately delivered one of the most memorable cards in company history.

 Global Numbers Still to Come

While the 17 million viewer figure is already impressive, the final audience could grow significantly once international data is released. With global stars such as Gaethje, Topuria, Pereira, and Gane featured prominently on the card, UFC Freedom 250 attracted interest from fans around the world.

If international figures mirror the strong domestic and Latin American performance. The White House event could ultimately rank among the most-viewed combat sports events of the modern era. For now, one thing is certain: UFC Freedom 250 delivered both inside and outside the Octagon.
