Las Vegas is known for its pool parties, while sports bars have long specialized in large-screen viewing experiences. Now, the Strip is fusing the exciting atmosphere of a pool party with the social energy of a sports bar. The Strip is now combining these two concepts.

Tailgate Beach Club, a new sports-focused dayclub, opens May 16 at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. It offers an upscale tailgate experience with cabanas, pools, and DJs on Las Vegas Boulevard. As a result, you get a unique sports bar atmosphere poolside.

Located near Allegiant Stadium, the venue promotes itself as the Strip’s first sports-focused dayclub. It caters to guests who prefer to watch playoffs from the pool with a cocktail. This is instead of being inside a traditional sportsbook or even a typical sports bar.

The venue features three heated pools and over 125 feet of LED screens for 360-degree viewing. Furthermore, it holds up to 2,000 guests. Amenities include 25 cabanas, premium bungalows, PlayStations, beer pong, ping pong, and foosball.

The grand opening will feature a performance by Snoop Dogg, known for his connection to both sports culture and pool parties. This event is set to take the concept of a sports bar to the next level. “Vegas knows how to throw a party and Tailgate Beach Club sounds like it’s bringing a whole new vibe to the Strip,” Snoop told Billboard ahead of the launch.

The menu features buffalo chicken tender sandwiches, mini Philly cheesesteaks, stadium wings, nachos, sliders, large share platters, and an all-beef “Ballpark Dog” served with fries.

The club will operate Thursday through Sunday from 11 am until the end of scheduled events, with extended hours for major games. In fact, the experience elevates what you would expect from a typical sports bar, offering watch parties for reality TV finales and other pop culture events in addition to sports.
