LAS VEGAS — Night 2 of WrestleMania 42 delivered a dramatic conclusion inside Allegiant Stadium, as championships changed hands and one of WWE’s most dominant figures reclaimed his throne.

Reigns Back on Top

In the main event, Roman Reigns once again proved why he’s one of the most dominant forces in WWE history. Reigns defeated CM Punk in a hard-fought battle to capture the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, overcoming a relentless effort from Punk, who threw everything in his arsenal at “The Tribal Chief.”

Punk pushed Reigns to the limit, but in the end, it wasn’t enough. Reigns closed the show standing tall champion once again.

Lesnar Leaves the Door Open… or Closed?

The night opened with a shocking and symbolic moment. Rising star Oba Femi dominated Brock Lesnar in a physical showdown that ended with Lesnar leaving his gloves and boots in the ring—a gesture long associated with retirement. Whether it marks the end of Lesnar’s in-ring career remains to be seen, but the moment sent shockwaves through the WWE Universe.

Ripley Regains Control

In a marquee women’s bout, Rhea Ripley defeated Jade Cargill to capture the Women’s World Championship. The match delivered on intensity, with Ripley showcasing her trademark power and resilience to overcome one of WWE’s fastest-rising stars.

Trick Williams Makes His Moment

Trick Williams added his name to the championship picture, capturing the Men’s United States Championship in a performance that further cemented his rise as one of WWE’s most electrifying talents.

Penta Climbs Above the Rest

In one of the night’s most chaotic matches, Penta retained the Men’s Intercontinental Championship by winning a high-risk six-man ladder match. The bout delivered nonstop action, with Penta once again proving he thrives in high-stakes, high-danger environments.

A Weekend of Momentum Shifts

Across both nights, WrestleMania 42 reshaped WWE’s landscape:

  • Roman Reigns back on top
  • Multiple title changes
  • Emerging stars stepping into the spotlight
  • Major questions surrounding Brock Lesnar’s future

If Night 1 set the stage, Night 2 delivered the payoff and possibly the beginning of a new era.
