LAS VEGAS — The countdown is on. With just weeks remaining until the 2026 NFL Draft, the Las Vegas Raiders appear to be zeroing in on their future franchise quarterback and all signs point to Fernando Mendoza.
According to NFL Network draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah, Mendoza is already taking steps that suggest he’s preparing to be the top pick. “Fernando Mendoza is working with Brian Griese right now… they’re installing the Raiders’ offense,” Jeremiah said during an appearance on the The Pat McAfee Show.
That’s not typical pre-draft prep. That’s franchise quarterback preparation. MWelcome to Dice City Sports — where we provide premium, exclusive, up-to-date news and analysis surrounding the Las Vegas sports scene. Follow along on social media, and check back for new articles daily!
