This was not the news the Las Vegas Raiders wanted to start the season off with.
In the Raiders’ season opener against the New England Patriots, star tight end Brock Bowers appeared to suffer a knee injury during the game.
Bowers was seen trying to work through it on the sideline with the Raiders’ medical staff, but the team has still ruled him as questionable to return.
This story is breaking. Updates will come as more information becomes available.
UPDATE: According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Bowers reportedly feels fine. He did not return to the game, but he expects that there should be no problems.
Just talked to #Raiders TE Brock Bowers and he says he’s fine. Took a little hit on the knee, came out to get checked out. No concerns moving forward.

With the Raiders waiting until next Monday to play their next game against the Los Angeles Chargers, the team has at least a long week to evaluate Bowers and make sure he is all systems go.
