The Memphis Grizzlies, seeded No. 8 with a record of 48-34, will play the No. 7 seed Golden State Warriors, also at 48-34, on Tuesday in the NBA Play-in Tournament.
The game will occur at Chase Center, starting at 7 p.m. PST.
In their regular-season encounters, the Warriors emerged victorious with a 3-1 series advantage over the Grizzlies.
Despite losing two of their last three games, the Grizzlies finished strong by defeating the Dallas Mavericks 132-97 on Sunday. They surprised as 1.5-point underdogs.
Key players were rested for the game, allowing forward Lamar Stevens to shine with a career-high 31 points.
On the other hand, the Warriors concluded the regular season with a 7-3 record in their final ten games but struggled recently, dropping three of their last five, including a 124-119 overtime defeat to the LA Clippers on Sunday.
Golden State was favored by 3.5 points but had difficulty containing Clippers stars James Harden and Kawhi Leonard, who together scored 72 points. Warriors guard Stephen Curry tallied 36 points, while forward Jimmy Butler contributed 30 in the loss.
The Warriors covered the spread in their last two victories over the Grizzlies but posted a 13-17-1 record against the spread (ATS) as home favorites throughout the regular season.
Meanwhile, Memphis finished the season with a 9-11-1 ATS record as road underdogs and has not covered the spread in a loss as a dog since January 13, when they narrowly lost to Houston 120-118 as a 2.5-point underdog.
