The Los Angeles Clippers are looking to maintain their hot streak against the Cleveland Cavaliers in a crucial NBA matchup on Sunday afternoon.

Coming off a 132-100 win over Brooklyn, the Clippers (42-31) have won eight of their last ten games, including two straight.

Meanwhile, the Cavaliers (59-15), the top seed in the East, suffered a 133-122 loss to Detroit and are 5-5 in their last ten.

The Clippers previously defeated the Cavaliers 132-119 in their only meeting this season on March 18.

Shooting guard Donovan Mitchell has been delivering impressive performances lately. In the recent defeat against the Pistons, he tallied 38 points, five rebounds and three assists.

The day before, he played a key role in the Cavaliers’ 124-116 victory over the San Antonio Spurs, achieving a double-double with 25 points, 14 assists, and eight rebounds.

Mitchell averages 24 points, 4.9 assists, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.3 steals in 31.3 minutes per game. Darius Garland has been averaging 20.7 points, 6.7 assists, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.2 steals in 30.6 minutes.

Garland boasts a shooting percentage of 47.2% from the field, including an impressive 40.3% from beyond the arc. In the loss to Detroit on Friday, he contributed 21 points, alongside six assists and five rebounds.

Shooting guard James Harden has been on a scoring spree, recording double-digit points in each of his last 23 games. His standout moment came on March 5, when he exploded for 50 points in a 123-115 triumph over Detroit.

This season, he has notched 32 double-doubles and registered two triple-doubles. In a recent victory against the Nets, Harden added 17 points, six assists, and two rebounds to the mix.

He is averaging 22.5 points, 8.6 assists, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.4 steals in 35 minutes per game.

Center Ivica Zubac has also played a crucial role in the Clippers’ offensive strategy. In his eighth NBA season, he has started all 71 games this year, averaging 16.5 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in 32.5 minutes.

Zubac achieved 50 double-doubles during the 2024-25 season and has posted one in each of his last six games.

He delivered an impressive performance in the win over the Cavaliers on March 18, scoring 28 points and grabbing 20 rebounds.
