Global Combat Collective has officially announced Wilder’s return to the ring, finally revealing an opponent and a date.
Global Combat Collective announced in a press conference that Wilder is scheduled to take on Tyrrell Herndon on June 27 at the Charles Koch Arena in Wichita, Kansas.
The return of Deontay Wilder will be the main event. In fact, the entire card will be broadcast via BLK Prime with American light heavyweight fighter Deon Nicholson, appearing in the co-main event.
Nelson Lopez Jr., the CEO and Founder of Global Combat Collective expressed his excitement, stating, “We are beyond excited to bring Legacy Reloaded to Wichita and give fans an unforgettable night of boxing.”
Lopez, Jr continued, “Deontay Wilder’s return is something the entire boxing world has been waiting for, and with Tyrell Herndon in the opposite corner, this fight is going to be explosive.
