Two Western Conference contenders are set to face off on Monday night in Sacramento, and we’ve got all the information you need, including predictions for the Grizzlies vs. Kings matchup.

Memphis (43-25 SU, 37-30-1 ATS) dominated Miami on Friday, winning 125-91 as -5 favorites at home. Meanwhile, Sacramento (33-33 SU, 26-37-1 ATS) suffered a 122-106 defeat against Phoenix on Friday, coming in as +2 underdogs.

Memphis

The Grizzlies start a five-game road trip after defeating Miami. They improved to 5-1 in their last six games and sit fourth in the Western Conference. Their defense excelled, limiting the Heat to 91 points and forcing 14 turnovers.

Offensively, Memphis shot 55.4% from the field and grabbed 51 rebounds. Jaren Jackson led with 31 points, and four starters scored in double digits.

Averaging 122.8 points per game, they have the second-best scoring offense in the NBA and rank second in rebounds. However, they struggle with 15.3 turnovers per game.

Defensively, they allow 116.6 points per game, with Jackson leading the team at 22.7 points per game, closely followed by Ja Morant at 22.3 points and 7.4 assists.

Sacramento

Sacramento is trying to escape the Play-In Tournament after losing four straight games and five of six, just before a seven-game homestand. In their recent loss to the Suns, they shot 49.4% but struggled with 19 turnovers and only eight three-pointers.

Domantas Sabonis posted a triple-double with 12 points, 12 assists, and 11 rebounds, while DeMar DeRozan led with 23 points.

The Kings rank 10th in the NBA, averaging 116.3 points per game on 47.7% shooting.

They allow 115.5 points per game, and Sabonis is averaging a double-double with 19.4 points and a league-high 14.1 rebounds, while DeRozan contributes 22.2 points per game.

Grizzlies-Kings Best Bet

I favor Memphis in this matchup. Despite Ja Morant being out, the Grizzlies have shown resilience thanks to Scotty Pippen Jr.’s contributions. Memphis has been in good form, winning five of their last six road games against Western Conference opponents.

On the other hand, the Kings are struggling, having lost their last four games, with three of those defeats by 16 points or more.

Memphis has been performing better on offense and defense recently, so I’m confident they can cover the small spread on the road.

Best Bet: Grizzlies +2.5 Points at -110 odds
