Runnin’ Rebels on the hunt against Fresno State Saturday

The UNLV Runnin’ Rebels are looking for their third straight win against Fresno State on Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Save Mart Center.

The Runnin’ Rebels are rolling after a win over the Air Force on Tuesday night.

Fresno State has lost seven straight games, dating all the way back to Jan. 7, when they defeated Air Force.

The Bulldogs have allowed 90+ points for the seventh time this season.

Fresno State also allowed the opponent to shoot over 60% from the floor for a second straight game.

Star guard Dedan Thomas, Jr leads the Runnin’ Rebels.

Thomas Jr. is averaging 15.9 points per game, while Jaden Henley is second, averaging 11.9 points per game.

Forward Jeremiah Cherry leads the Runnin’ Rebels in rebounding and blocks, totaling 5.1 rebounds per game and 1.4 blocks per game.

In their win against Air Force, Cherry led the Runnin’ Rebels, scoring 15 points and 6-for-6 from the floor.

Julian Rishwain added 13 points, all the while Jailen Bedford, Henley, and Brooklyn Hicks all scored 11 points.

On the other side of the court, the Bulldogs are most recently lost to UNR on Monday night.

Fresno State is led by Zaon Collins, averaging 12.6 points per game.

In their last meeting on December 28, the Runnin’ Rebels defeated the Bulldogs 87-77.
