UFC CEO Dana White is beyond frustrated with the stalling of Jon Jones vs. Tom Aspinall.
White says that all promotions have the green light for all potential outcomes that may come of the fight negotiations.
Aspinall and Jones seem destined to clash in the Octagon this year.
Jones successfully defended his heavyweight title against Stipe Miocic in November.
Since that title defense, Jones has pivoted his stance on the fight and is in active negotiations with the UFC brass for at least one more fight.
Leading up to UFC 309, Jones hinted at possible retirement.
Some time has passed since UFC 309 and the match between Jones and Aspinall is still unclear.
Dana White seeks to clarify what the UFC will do if the fight does not happen.
White has admitted that there is a possibility that he will strip Jones.
In a recent interview with TheMacLife, White gave an update on the negotiations between Aspinall and Jones.
“There’s no situation. It’s the biggest fight that we can make,” White said. “I know the fans like to mess with Jon or whatever, Jon Jones isn’t afraid of anybody, and Jon Jones will fight anybody. It’s just a matter of getting the fight done now, that’s our job.”
During the interview, White also dismissed a rumor of $30 million payout to Jones.
If Jones and White cannot agree to the fight details, Aspinall will fight another top contender to vacate the belt.
