Bleacher Report is reporting that after his blockbuster fight on Netflix against Mike Tyson, Jake Paul is looking at a new challenger, boxing legend, Roy Jones, Jr.
After knocking down former heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson last month, Paul has improved his professional boxing record of 11-1.
According to TMZ.com, 55-year-old Roy Jones, Jr. has entered the chat. In an interview with TMZ Sports, Jones, Jr. said that he is interested in taking on Paul.
Jones, Jr. mentioned in the interview that he watched the fight between Paul and Tyson. He said he “noticed some gaps in Paul’s defensive strategy, most notably his chin.” He also was confused as to why Tyson didn’t take advantage of it.
Jones also said, “I don’t think Mike checked his chin at all. So, I wouldn’t mind having a shot to see if I could get to his chin, to test his chin.”
He also said that he sees potential in Paul.

Jones’s overall record was 66-10 with 47 knockouts over his career.
Notably, Roy Jones, Jr. was Mike Tyson’s opponent in 2020, which was ruled a draw. Before the 2020 fight, Mike Tyson had not fought since 2005. Jones is in a different zone, his last fight was in 2023, which he lost to Anthony Pettis.
Now that a challenger has thrown their hat in the ring, it will be interesting to see if Jake Paul accepts it.
